The Property

Dan Y Coed is an immaculate, detached cottage found on the edge of the semi-rural hamlet of Dolley Green, just 3 miles from the popular market town of Presteigne (Llanandras), close to the English/Welsh border.

Fully renovated by the current owners over the past 3 years using reputable local builders leaving no stone un-turned and having every last detail either renewed or upgraded from what was an extremely dated property to what is now a stunning 'chocolate box' style country cottage. Dan Y Coed oozes quality throughout and is available to purchase with no upward chain!

Inside, Dan Y Coed is made up of a hallway, living room, kitchen diner, porch, utility room and shower room/wet room on the ground floor, whilst the first floor accommodates a landing area, 2 double bedrooms and a family bathroom. Throughout this superb house the owners have tried to retain many character features including exposed timbers, stone work and a fireplace as well as also adding plenty of high quality and oak finishes. The property has been re-wired, had a completely new central heating system installed, the chimney re-built as well as a extension to the rear to create a useful utility room and downstairs wet room. The cottage is relatively efficient to run owing to the fully insulated loft, double glazed windows and 'Worcester' combination boiler.

Outside the cottage there is no backwards step in quality! The property offers gated off road parking over a gravelled drive for 3 vehicles, a largely laid to lawn sizeable rear garden, perfect for horticultural enthusiasts, 2 large wooden sheds and enjoys fantastic views across the adjoining open countryside.

Offering the peace and tranquillity so many of us desire, Dan Y Coed could be just what you are looking for if natural wildlife, beautiful countryside and rolling hill tops as far as the eye can see is what your after. A real gem of a property which any new owner would be proud to call home, Dan Y Coed is ready for the new occupiers to simply move in the furniture and personal belongings, put their feet up and sit back and enjoy the laid back lifestyle this wonderful dwelling offers. A must view in our eyes!
