The Property

Situated in the delightful, unspoiled countryside, this detached character cottage has been beautifully renovated to the highest specification by the current vendors and now provides the most comfortable, spacious 2/3 bedroom home in the most enviable elevated position. Hazelwood is located just outside the pretty village of Llangedwyn and offers potential buyers a chance to purchase a piece of the good life as well as the opportunity to enjoy breath-taking views over the surrounding countryside and rolling hilltops every single day.

Approached from a quiet country lane a driveway enters the property and provides ample parking for multiple vehicles. The landscaped gardens unfold in front of you and are awash with colour thanks to the beautifully planted beds. To your left you will see the first of two useful outbuildings, both of which are connected to mains electricity and can be used as a home office and workshop respectively. There are two pathways which lead though the garden, one runs along the side and takes you directly to the entrance porch and the other has stone-laid steps rising to two attractively paved seating areas from where you can really begin to appreciate the views.

A useful entrance porch greets you and provides somewhere to take off your shoes and coat. Double doors open to the spacious lounge-diner which has a lovely tiled floor and feature wood-burning stove inset in a stone built inglenook fireplace. This is a large light and airy room with space for a lounge suite as well as a dining table and chairs. Off the lounge is the shower room which is fitted with an attractive suite to include a walk-in shower cubicle, wash basin, WC., and bidet. The kitchen is appointed with a matching range of wall and base units and has provision for a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer and a freestanding cooker. From the kitchen you enter the sitting room/third bedroom. This room enjoys simply stunning views and has French doors opening to the aforementioned seating area. On the first floor you will find two bedrooms, the second bedroom has yet more incredible views as well as handmade fitted wardrobes. It is the first bedroom however where things get really interesting. This is a huge room and makes a stunning master bedroom but is is so large it could easily be split into two bedrooms should one wish. It would also be very easy to put in an en-suite if that is something on your wish list. You may however just want to leave it as it is and soak up the wonderful vista from the balcony.
